Irina Gracheva: “It was a good race!”

This is what Irina wrote after the finish of the race in the TROPHEE MARIE-AGNES PERON 2019 on the page Irina Gracheva Racing Mini-Transat 2019:

It was a good race!

MAP race results:

– 17 of 55 in serie
– 25 of 72 overall

A good start in the group with the leaders.
Stretching and the gap under spinnakers.
Long Beida on Chaussee de Sein Beida and the long back, which managed to stay with the first group.
Squally cloud at the entrance to the Bay.
Very correct tactical decisions on tacking in the Gulf allowed me to play a few places from Pogo 3 and hard to gain a foothold in the new group of boats on my lady – the Rum!
We were the only old boat in the new aircraft at the finish line!

And for the first time I was able to go 100 and even 110% of their polars!
So, at the finish I had time ahead of schedule by 3 hours.

Thank you all for the congratulations! 6 in yellow brick – it was a bug, of course. There are no miracles. But Cachaça will continue to do everything to at least small miracles happen with old boats on the course!
