This is a yacht for the America's Cup
Late on Thursday, the Persico Marine shipyard hangar in Bergamo left the AC75 class yacht of the Italian crew Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, built to participate in the 36th draw of the America's Cup.
At night, the boat was delivered to Livorno, from where by ferry – to the island of Sardinia, where the Luna Rossa team base is located. The official launch of the yacht was originally scheduled for August 25, but now another date is set – September 9. What is the reason for the delay – not specified.
Everyone, of course, really wants to see how the AC75 yacht looks in reality, but in all official pictures it is hidden under a cover. The only "spy" picture, secretly taken by someone present during the loading, which shows the stern of the boat, also provides little information. So you have to wait a few weeks.
