For most of the race, Rolex Fastnet Race, the whole struggle is still ahead, but in a division where competing giant trimarans, already came the denouement.
Line honours, but at the same time and a new record for the race mnogoyarusnyi got the Maxi trimaran Edmonds De Rothschild (skippers Frank Kamma and Charles Cadrele). The distance (officially it is known, 608 nautical miles, but in fact Rothschild left astern 664 miles) new Champions overcame in 1 day 4 hours 2 minutes and 26 seconds.
Finished second Macif by françois Gabaret, which has lagged behind the winner (not believe!) only 58 seconds. That was a struggle!
And finally, the third line crossed another monster – Sodebo Ultime 3 Volumes Coville – 1 day 5 hours 26 minutes and 48 seconds.
