From 10 to 12 may at the Portuguese Portimao hosted the first stage of the world championship — 2019 aquabike. Bronze award in the discipline of “freestyle”, the most effective for our team brought a 17-year-old Sergei Chemezov, the operating champion of Russia. In his early years he has fulfilled the master of sports. In 2018, the athlete won the main Russian competitions: the Cup of Russia in Tver and the championship of Russia in Gelendzhik.
Earlier stage of the Europe championship (may 3-5, Penafiel, Portugal) in the same discipline on the podium went to another Russian Alexander Kuramshin — athlete won a silver medal.
“Russian aquabike is now experiencing a new upsurge. For the third consecutive year we are holding the Cup and the championship of Russia on aquabike, and increasing the attention of viewers. It spurs athletes, competition intensifies, which increases the quality of the Russian aquabike in General. All of the above, of course, affects the international result over the past year has increased markedly. The next main Russian events of the season will be held in summer. From 20 to 23 June in the Tver region, “Konakovo river club” will pass the Cup of Russia on vodno-motor sports in a class “aquabike”. Cup holders will determine in three disciplines: racing (racing and freestyle), slalom (time with two athletes) and freestyle (demonstration of the tricks). In the discipline of “freestyle” already confirmed their participation are the main favorites. Sergey Chemezov, and Alexander Kuramshin will compete champion of Russia 2017 Arseny of Matanzas.
Here will take place the Championship of Russia in these disciplines. In addition, as part of the Cup for the second consecutive year will be held the official international competition for water-motor sport in the international class “girofla” (flyboarding), which is held under the auspices of the International Union of motor-boating (UIM).
