Another day – and …
The World Championship in Laser Radial, which takes place in Melbourne, has entered a decisive phase. Today, both women and men had 3 races. The same amount will be spent tomorrow – and the regatta will end there.
Since, unfortunately, nothing shines for us in the women's tournament, we break the tradition and begin with a story about men's competitions, where Daniil Krutskikh is confidently leading. According to the sum of nine races held during the days of the championship (with one surge), Daniel has 16 points (today's arrivals – 5 – 2 – 3). The closest rival, Australian Brody Riley, is 19 points behind. And, therefore, there is a great chance that tomorrow Krutskikh will receive the championship title, which we wish him with all our heart!
Two other Russians day by day fall in the table all below. Daniil Maistrovsky is now the 26th, Dmitry Golovkin is the 34th.

Now about the women's competition. According to the results of the three final races held today, the leader – winner of the Rio 2016 gold and six-time world champion Marit Boumeester (Netherlands) even more detached from her pursuers. So, after nine races, the Bowmeester has 21 points (with one throw). Whereas the runner-up Line Flem Host from Norway has 45 points.
Two of our racers are performing in the Golden Fleet. Ekaterina Zyuzina is now in 29th place (131 points, parishes today 14 – 8 – 17). Maria Kislukhina – on the 52nd (235 points).
Three other Russians – Valeria Lomatchenko, Alexandra Lukoyanova and Ekaterina Guseva occupy 24th, 30th and 31st places in the Silver Fleet.
