PROyachting opens Moscow sailing season. The first regatta will be held at the Royal Yacht Club on Wednesday, may 1.

“Whatever the circumstances and whatever the capital’s weather, we always try to hold a traditional may day regatta at the Royal Yacht Club on the Water stadium, — says Mikhail Kondratyev, General Director PROyachting. — We are glad that now all of the yacht to her busy. This means that our customers and friends missed the sail and the races are not less than we are.”

The company conducts several series of Amateur regattas in the Royal Yacht Club. Most popular — evening racing Tuesday and Wednesday: Tuesday Warm-Up Race Wednesday Night Race — will start may 7 and 8. They have a permanent, established over several years audience, which seriously fight for the victory in the ranking and top prizes of the season.

“A series of evening races on Tuesdays and Wednesdays there are in 2013 and become very popular. The format of the evening regattas very suitable for busy residents of a big city, so this season we are launching a new series of regattas on Thursdays PROyachting Fun Race. We want more and more people get acquainted with sailing and didn’t think of it as something distant. Yachting is close and accessible,” says Catherine Skudina, the ideologist of the project PROyachting.

The series of races on the weekend Royal Weekend Race starts on Saturday, 4 may. As a rule, the race of the day gather the widest audience, they come as people entirely without experience, and experienced sailors who want to train and spend the day sailing. Modern yachts J/70 is ideal for such purposes. They are not overloaded with materiel, and beginners will be easy to navigate in them. At the same time, the J/70 is one of the most popular and fastest growing classes in the world. It hosts the world Championships, and these boats are certainly interesting even for professional sailors.

Sunday, may 5, the company will also open the season on the Amateur regattas [email protected] Race in yachts-club “the Estate gals”.
