The press service of the Russian SB20 class association talks about the results of the 4th stage of the Winter Series in Cascais (Portugal), held last Saturday and Sunday.

The winner of the 4th stage was the British crew of John Pollard. The victory was literally wrested in a tough fight with the Ukrainian #Gamechanger crew led by Yulia Kirpa. The guys walked on points, as they say, nostril to nostril. But in the end, Julia’s team is the second. Both teams completed this regatta with 9 points.

In third place with 20 points is the St. Petersburg crew of VIS Sailing Team Timur Sabirzyanov. Immediately behind them with a lag of just 2 points – the MST team of Vasily Grigoriev.

1. Xcellent – John Pollard, Steve Designer, Jack Weatherly – 9 points

2. #GameChanger – Julia Kirpa, Ben Saxton, Pavel Matsuev, Semyon Dmitrienko – 9 points

3. VIS Sailing Team – Timur Sabirzyanov, Alexander Mikhailov, Andrey Sokolov – 20 points.

4. MST – Vasily Grigoryev, Maxim Kuzmin, Mikhail Markin – 22 points.

The next stage will be held March 28-29.
