Shipyard Heesen Yachts announced the sale of its 50-foot boats with a tonnage of just under 500 gross tonnes. Buyer found yacht broker Arcon Yachts.

Project Aster, also known as YN 18750, is the seventh boat of the class 5000 Aluminium from Heesen designed by Frank Laupman (Frank Laupman) from Omega Architects. The boat will be delivered in June of 2019, construction began on a speculative basis, i.e. before had found a buyer. Soon the yacht will undergo intensive sea trials in the North sea.

Short time of order execution, an impressive maximum speed of 23 knots and a proven Dutch quality — that’s what attracts in Project Aster.

With over 40 years of experience, Heesen able to build the aluminum body, satisfying extremely high standards. The shipyard managed to create a very streamlined semi-displacement yacht, which is powered by two MTU 16V 4000 engines. They provide not only high speed but also the efficiency and smooth running in all conditions.

Aster — a real ocean-going yacht with a transatlantic range of 3,100 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots.

Boat perfectly blends excellent driving performance, comfort, space and refined luxury. Exterior lines embody the Heesen DNA: the forward part curved in the form of the beak of a Pelican, reverse sheer of the deck and the mast sports impart incredible originality.

The interior design of the Aster can be described as: timeless. There is an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. The decoration used a wide range of materials. On the one hand, Cristiano Gatto (Cristiano Gatto) deliberately avoided the excessive decorations of interior decoration, on the other hand the interior is not alien to the spirit of wealth and luxury. It is obvious that in such an elegant design Gatto reflected the principle “perfection in simplicity”.

The layout provides accommodation to twelve guests in five cabins on the lower deck and the master cabin located on main deck, in front of it. The crew consists of nine people.

Note that this is already the third boat from Heesen, the finder of the owner for the current year.
