In Croatia burned a 40-meter superyacht Kanga, launched this summer. The fire occurred on the morning of 7 September, when the yacht was on the mooring at the island of Olipa 15 miles from Dubrovnik.
Aboard were evacuated 13 people, including nine passengers and four crew members. Fortunately, anybody from them has not suffered.
Kanga was supposed to Shine on the yacht shows in Cannes and Monaco.
Fire on the boat filmed by eyewitnesses. On the videos it is evident that the superstructure of the Kanga and its interior was badly damaged by fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
Three-deck semi-displacement Kanga was built in accordance with RINA standards for the owner from America. On its Board there were five cabins for 12 passengers and cockpit crew, can accommodate up to 11 people.
