63-year-old French skipper Francis Guiana are now 800 nautical miles to improve on the Maxi trimaran IDEC SPORT his own world record on the distance from Port-Louis in Brittany to the other Port Louis, Mauritius.
And the question is now one – the one in the headline: how many of Guion will improve the record?
Completed an 18-day race against time. Behind – more than 8,000 miles. The remaining 800 IDEC SPORT, if nothing catastrophic happens (this is even not want to think of), it will take a couple of days despite the fact that we have to overcome two bands of low pressure. By the way, the last day of the Maxi trimaran went 495 miles. We can say, trudged on foot: in one day was 716,5 miles.
Your own schedule 2009, Guyon now ahead of 1487 miles – which, as once wrote the classic, a huge distance. Ten years ago, the Frenchman at this point, just passed the Cape of Good hope. While Mauritius has finished, we will remind, after 26 days, 4 hours, 13 minutes and 29 seconds.
What about this time?

P. S. Recall that the race from Port Louis to Port Louis – the first stage of a record series, scheduled Guiana. Then follow three more stages – though not solo but with a team. Mauritius – Ho Chi Minh city (Vietnam) – 3975 miles. Ho Chi Minh city – Hong Kong – 920 miles. And finally, from Hong Kong to London – 13000 miles.
