For the Cup "Baltic"
Last weekend in St. Petersburg hosted the Cup of the yacht club "Baltiets" in snowkiting. According to the St. Petersburg Sailing Union, in two days the athletes managed to spend 8 races in different weather conditions.
In total, more than 50 athletes from St. Petersburg, Moscow, the Leningrad Region, Karelia and other regions reported to the competition.
In the overall standings, the first place was taken by the current world champion and Russian champion in winter snowkiting, the athlete of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club Sailing Academy Nikita Kodanev, second place went to Alexei Okhotnikov, third – to Mikhail Sergeyev.
In the Open class, victory for Nikita Kodanev, in the Box 15 class – for Ivan Tokarev. Competitions in the class “Snowkiting course-snowboard” won Nikita Sokolov. Among the cadets, the best was Andrei Karavan.
