Painting of yachts – it is, of course, highly individual. There are no trends and any part – especially if you are limited by budget. Only you can decide if your ship is classically white, whether it will Express your desire for simplicity and the austerity of monochrome shades or will throw everyone off their gaudy camouflage during the First world war.
We present a selection of modern yachts with the most unusual coloring which dared their owners.
1. Baglietto MV13 (Lap-1)
Motor yacht Baglietto MV13 built in 2015 at the Italian shipyard Baglietto. It is the customer and the owner is Elkann Lapo (Lapo Elkann) – a former top Manager of Fiat, today working at Gucci, a representative of one of the most famous families of Italy Agnelli. The yacht is designed by Francesco Paszkowski (Francesco Paszkowski) and Garage Italia Customs. Digital camouflage, which painted its body is created manually. It used five different shades and the transparent Matt varnish.
2. Black Legend
Case a 30-metre Black Legend (Sunseeker) is painted charcoal black, with a red stripe exactly at the waterline and a red silhouette of the skull closer to the nose. She was launched in may 2014 and, as far as we know, the pirate raids have not yet participated. Apparently, the owner is preparing for something big.
73-meter yacht predator (“Predator”), built at the shipyard Feadship in 2008, recognisable from a distance only by an unusual profile. Bold coloring complements the impression it makes. To curb this “predator” certainly sheer pleasure.
High-speed 30-foot sailing yacht Comanche (Hodgdon Yachts), the cost of construction which amounted to $100 thousand, today few people do not know. Launched in November 2014, she has managed to set a number of records. It is likely that this helped combat native American coloring. But rather it’s in the character of its owner Jim Clark, the skipper is the professional Ken reed and the brave crew.
The passion of the owner of the 37 metre Aurelia (Heesen Yachts) witnesses. Its showy coloration mimics the colors of the Porsche Gulf Racing in the same scheme painted tender.
The owner of the catamaran Waterland (Outremer Yachting) probably wanted privacy and painted the boat in military camouflage, which attracted even more attention.
Extravagant 35-metre yacht Guilty (Cantieri Navali Rizzardi) have long been reputed dream of pop art. Its colouring – a real blinding camouflage (Razzle Dazzle) during the First world war, created under sketches of artist Jeff Koons.
