      The first stage – in Sardinia
      It is officially announced that on April 23-26 this year, the first stage of the America’s Cup World Series (ACWS) racing series will be held in Cagliari in Sardinia.

4 teams will compete in these races, who will take part in the 36th America Cup next year – the current owner of the New Zealand trophy is Emirates Team New Zealand, the “notebook” challenger of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team, as well as INEOS TEAM UK (Great Britain ) and NYYC American Magic (USA).

Following the races in Cagliari this year, ACWS regattas will be held in Portsmouth (UK, June 4–7) and Auckland (New Zealand, December 17–20).

In the same place, in Auckland, in January and February of next year, applicants will determine who will confront the New Zealanders in the decisive Match. This match itself, recall, is scheduled for March 6 – 21 of the same 2021.
