And what prevented him from communications?
Off the coast of Jamaica, a 30-foot Avrio yacht was discovered, on which 42-year-old Briton Mark Brennan made a solitary round-the-world trip.
On December 6, Brennan left the island of Grenada – and on that day he was last seen alive, and one of those who escorted the British told him that to go to sea without any means of communication (Brennan does not understand why he was their principal adversary) – it's silly and extremely risky.
After 13 days, the yacht was noticed from a flying plane – it was drifting, the deck was empty, the sails were removed. This was reported to England – the mother and brother-in-law of Brennan, and on December 21, they turned to the police, which began proceedings through their channels.
But Avrio and Brennan were found only now: employees of the Jamaican Coastal Service found the decomposed corpse of a traveler in the cabin.
The yacht was towed to the town of Port Antonio in eastern Jamaica. The investigation is ongoing.
