The organizers of the world’s largest sailing competition photos – Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image 2019 was announced that start of work.
To participate in the competition of the professional photographers in the period from 13 September 2018, 13 November 2019.
This year, as a proud reminiscent of the contest organizers, it is held in the jubilee – 10th – time. Over the past decade, participation in the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image 2018 adopted 312 photographers from 47 countries – a great result!
Recall that the Yacht Russia magazine is a media partner of the competition. We are extremely gratified that a number of Russian photographers involved in it is growing every year. An increase in the level of their work. So, last year the authors of 6 of 80 images, selected by an international jury, were our countrymen. There is something to be proud of!
This year will also be selected 80 pictures – it will happen on October 22. Then the voting will start on the Internet. The author of the picture who receives the most votes in this network voting, will receive the Public Award.
Go on. On 4 November the international professional jury will decide who will be awarded the main prize of the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image 2019, and will select 20 photographs that will be exhibited on 24 and 25 November in Bilbao (Spain) where these days will be an annual Yacht Racing Forum. The participants of the forum will determine the vote of the winner of the third prize – a Yacht Racing Forum Award.
And there, in Bilbao, the winners will receive their prizes!
