McConaghy Yachts introduced the concept of the trimaran Tri60

Australian developers at McConaghy Yachts, together with engineers at BMT Asia Pacific, introduced a new concept of “day” motor yacht on the basis of the trimaran. The model, named Tri60, still exists only on paper, but the authors of the project do not doubt its imminent implementation.

Trimaran Tri60 is available in two versions – sedan and convertible. In the first case we are talking about a completely closed superstructure and comfortable atmosphere inside the luxury cabin. Convertibles, by contrast, will be more in keeping with the main “day” the idea of the project –with the emphasis on fresh air, the smell of the sea and the sun.

In both versions, superstructure and cockpit Tri60 include glass roof with sliding hatch, glass walls and doors leading to the deck. With a length of only 18 meters, the trimaran has a surprisingly large amount of free space sufficient to place on Board is also 3-metre tender type of rib for 4 people. In addition to the known stability, which have multi-hull ships, outriggers have Tri60 are the site of storage of additional furniture for deck, sports equipment.

The trimaran will be equipped with two diesel engines, 475 HP, combined with the water cannons. It is assumed that its maximum speed is 32 knots.
