The Dutch shipyard Damen has released a video on SeaXplorer 75 — representative of a new series of expedition yachts, size range of which is within the range 55-100 meters. The first detailed renderings SeaXplorer 75, grown in the process of construction up to nearly 77 meters and therefore changed its name to SeaXplorer 77, has been demonstrated in the framework of the Monaco Yacht Show — 2018.
Shestibalny Explorer, designed by Azure Naval Architects, in accordance with the Polar code the International Maritime organization (IMO) carries an impressive list forwarding “inventory”, including two helicopters, which is equipped with Playground and shed. The yacht also has a diving centre and a two car garage under tenders — front and rear.
SeaXplorer 75 capable of carrying food and carry fuel enough for a 40-day journey without calling at the port.
The shipyard previously described SeaXplorer 75 “class crossover that combines quality yacht with great opportunities,” and rose Damen (Damen Rose), managing Director of Amels and Damen, describes the ship as “all-season boat for those who want to spend most of their time to the study of the world.”
“The combination of know-how of our luxury yachts Amels with experience within the Damen Shipyards Group in the creation of commercial courts is really unique — you can see it in the design. SeaXplorer 75 is designed to meet the individual requirements of our customers,” adds rose Damen.
Area to accommodate 12 guests includes including two VIP cabins, located next to an observation deck and outdoor terrace. Of course, the plan separately provided and the owner’s apartment.
The laying of the keel took place in July 2018 at Damen Shipyards Galati on the Bank of the Danube, and the finished boat should be by the end of 2020. The ceremony was personally attended by the owner of the Explorer who, following long tradition, fused to keel a coin for good luck.
Smaller SeaXplorer 65 now the same is under active construction and will be commissioned in the same year 2020.
