Two yachts under the flag of Russia set the tone in Miami, where was held the third stage of the Miami Winter Series in the Melges 20 class.
The first was Nika (RUS 309) Vladimir Prosikhin (Morgan Reeser, Charlie Smith): the team scored in six races (with one outlier) 13 points. Parishes (5) – 3 – 4 – 1 – 1 – 4.
4 points from the winners, behind Russian Bogatyrs (ENG 898) Igor Rytov (Anton Sergeev, Konstantin Besputin). Their parishes (10) – 2 – 6 – 2 – 6 – 1.
That’s what Rytov wrote on his page on Facebook:
“I ended the third stage imna series in Miami. Two days of racing. On the third day the wind never came. Races were held in difficult conditions. The whole area was in the weeds. Unfortunately, we only on the second day found an effective way of dealing with them. However, second place is not bad. In three weeks the world championship.”
Well, we watch it. And wish our success!
