Life after racing: touching text from the main organizer of the Golden Globe Race-don McIntyre. Page #EsmeraldaOK quoted this stuff:

Each of us has these several years lived race #GGR2018. For the participants of the race had even more significance than for us. For some, the return to the ordinary world has become a painful shock.

Tapio Lehtinen returned home. The last mile he was accompanied by young skippers in the yacht class “Optimist”.

Mark Slats and Susie Goodall, finished in race #AZAB2019 (on the 2nd place in its class). Before the finish they had to go through the storm. For Susie it was the first storm after the coup in the southern ocean.

Ertan of Beskardes is going to take part in the race #AZAB2022 in preparation for #GGR2022.

Abilash Tom spends time with his family, but dreams of race in 2022. Gregor Macguckin still worried about the fate of his boat. Ares Wiig dreams of another krugosvetka, but without the crazy rush. Now he does not have the required amount, but it’s going to save up.

Leuk Lepage enjoys life. The French know how to do. But he’s already thinking about finding a sponsor, guess what.

Philip Hiking moving forward and trying to find a balance that selling PRB. But the Antoine Kwaso brewing new plans which could mean a return to a familiar scene!

Nabil AMR, Istvan Kopar – they have their own business, but we cannot claim that they do not think about GGR.

By the way, Istvan recently bought his old boat that he sold in order to participate in GGR. The owner of the boat knew of the attachment Stephen, and beach the boat for him.

But Kevin Fairbrother made it clear that ties with the sails. Better mountains, even have to stand in a queue on Everest.

The boat Francesco Kapelletti eyeing potential participant GGR2022 – here, too, I guess, everything is clear.

The UCA Randmaa – happy father, he has something to remember and something to dream about.

All I want to hear the story of Jean-Luc van den Heede, but in between the stories and other activities he plans for the future.

The race is over. But the fun continues! Books, movies, sponsors, new members and… race Ocean Globe!

Of course, you heard from GGR’s sister – OGR!

GGR2018 race was an incredible adventure! Thanks to everyone who was with us!
