Show must go on!
In Porto Cervo in Sardinia, the 12th Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta is taking place these days, in which 20 super-yachts from 25 to 52 meters long are taking part.
This is the same regatta in which, we recall, the 40-meter long My Song was supposed to perform, which fell into the sea from the deck of a cargo ship during a storm ten days ago.
It was My Song, as everyone was sure, that the current Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta was to become the winner. After all, this yacht won in the past and the year before last and was not only amazingly beautiful, but also incredibly speedy.
But this time My Song did not come out at the start – and, quite likely, it will never work out once. A real blow of fate for its owner, as well as the title sponsor of the regatta Pierre Luigi Loro Pian, who heads (along with his brother) the famous Italian brand, which produces clothing, bags, shoes, textiles and interior items.
Yes, there is no main favorite. Nevertheless, as sung in the famous song, show must go on. And it – show – continues! As evidenced by the pictures taken by the famous Italian Studio Borlenghi.
