Oasis of the Seas is 40 per cent larger than any other cruise ship in the world.
At 1, 187 feet it is longer than the Shard is tall and, at 208 feet wide, is larger than the wingspan of a Boeing 747.
It took three years to build the huge ship in Turku, Finland at a cost of £800 million.
It can accommodate over 5, 400 guests, 2, 394 crew on-board, which between them use 2, 350, 000 litres of water every day.
The ship features 37 bars, more than 20 cafés and restaurants, and over 10, 000 square feet of retail shopping on board, ranging from organic T-shirt companies to designer boutiques.
It has an outdoor park which has some 12, 000 plants, 56 trees, and 62 vines.
It also has a 750-seat AquaTheater modelled on an ancient Greek amphitheatre, located at the stern of the ship.
It allows guests on board the chance of lounging around the biggest pool afloat in the day and going back at night for shows including acrobatics, synchronised swimming, water ballet, and professional high-diving.
