The seventh day after the start of the second stage of the transatlantic race Mini-Transat La Boulangère is coming to an end. Over the past few hours, Russian participants Irina Gracheva and Fedor Druzhinin managed to climb one step each in the table.
Gracheva (579) now occupies the 27th place (out of 64 that went to the start of the second stage) in the division of serial yachts. Druzhinin is the 17th (out of 22 who started) in the Proto division.
Former leaders are Italian Ambrogio Beccaria in Serie and François Giambet (France) in Proto. Both are significantly ahead of their closest pursuers — 50 and 82 nautical miles, respectively, and the first to cross the mid-distance mark between Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, and the town of Le Maren on the island of Martinique.
