Yekaterinburg has calm weather
At the World Championship in match racing among juniors, which takes place in Yekaterinburg from August 11 to 17, quiet weather prevented a normal race.
It was possible to resume the race only at 16.30 local time, it was important to complete the 25th flight, after which the yachtsmen changed boats. Only two flights were possible (25 and 26), and the wind died completely.
Teams of yachtsmen from the following countries came to Yekaterinburg: Australia, USA, Czech Republic, Sweden, Great Britain, Denmark, France, Poland, Italy, New Zealand, Japan and Russia.
The Russian team My Wind Team, Mark Abdrakipov, is not very successful so far – 10th place, three wins out of 14.
