Mallorca continues the Open European Championships in Windsurfing class RS:X.
Thursday, April 11, women held three of the final race. According to the results of all eight held over three days of racing the best among European athletes – Maya Zarnowska from Poland – 29 points. However, in absolute standings it second, behind the Chinese player Liu UNSW 5 points.
Our Stefania Elfwina (which, we recall, to this regatta had to miss about six months) is, as the day before, the 9th place among European vindserfingistov and 11th in the overall classification. The main question is: will she be able to get in the medal race? I would like to hope.
The other two girls – Anna and Maria Korikova Lemenkov – 41/59 and 47/71 respectively.
The men took a division into Gold and Silver fleet, and yesterday was held the final two races. The leader Frenchman Louis Žiar – 16 points.
From the Russian guys in the Gold fleet were only Alexander Askerov: among Europeans, it is at the 39th place in the overall classification – the 47th. Here are the results of the other, now exposed in the Silver fleet:
Vladislav Burmistenko – 46/56, Evgeny Ayvazyan – 52/62, Maxim Tokarev – 51/55, Ilya Kirichuk – 69/89.
As for the tournament boys, after nine races (including the final three) Artem Akimov on 36/37 place, Anton Tokarev – 50/54 (both in the Gold fleet), while Mikhail Alexandrov – 58/65 (in Silver).
