      Who will be the best 2019 yachtsman in the world?
      The International Sail Federation – World Sailing – today published a shortlist of nominees for the title of Best Sailor of 2019 (Rolex World Sailor of the Year 2019).

The male half of the list includes: Antoine Albot (France) – the famous master of windsurfing, multiple champion of the PWA World Tour in slalom; Matt Belcher and Will Ryan (Australia) are world champions. Europe and the World Cup 2019 in class 470; Marco Gradoni (Italy) – World Champion 2018 and 2019 in the Optimist class; Francis Gouillon (France) is the winner of the Route du Rhum race.

In the female half of the list: Dolphin Cousin-Kestel (France) – world champion PWA World Tour-2018 in slalom; Violeta del Reynaud (Spain) – winner of the World Sailing 2019 World Cup; Anne-Marie Rindom (Denmark) – champion of the world and Europe-2019 in the class "Laser Radial".

It will be possible to vote for one or another nominee from October 22 to 28 on the World Sailing website. The winners will be named at the ceremony, which will be held on October 29 in Bermuda.
