Who is Davy Jones?

Today we tell about Davy Jones – which is familiar anyone who has seen a film about the pirates of the Caribbean.

But who is he – the Jones? The devil. Sea. The owner of the bodies and souls of the dead sailors. So instead to say simply and clearly about the drowned man “went down” when saying something nice – “went to Davy Jones”.

This is not a very nice character we are told in the pages of Yacht Russia three years ago. And now Davy Jones is back – in our “coronavirus” project.
