Today in Sakaiminato (Japan), where the world championship in the class “Laser radial”, was held the first two of the final race.
For the former leader of the regatta – Jocelyn Olsson from Sweden – these two races was a disaster: the first of them, she was disqualified, while the other couldn’t finish. And as a result fell to 12th place in the table.
Thanks to this forward broke Guzel Ecem of Turkey, which has 40 points (with one outlier). However, far from it Tuula Tenkanen (Finland) is 46 points. And even at one point have more great and terrible Marit Boumeester (which, recall, the silver medallist in London 2012, champion at the Games in Rio 2016 and in addition three-time world champion!). Something tells us that in the end it was the Dutch athlete to win the gold in Japan.
Once I started the final race – so there was a division on the Gold and Silver fleet. The first of these chases Yekaterina Zyuzina: in two races on Monday, she became the 35th and the 26th, and now occupies 46-e a place (145 points). Alas, this is very far from the main events.
Valeria Lomachenko – in the Silver fleet. It is on the 86th place (211 points).
