The start of the round the world race Maxi trimaran class Ultime-32/23, which was scheduled for the end of December following, 2019, postponed indefinitely.
This decision was made by the organizers of the widely publicized race Brest Oceans (to start and finish the participants in the French Brest, hence the name). The other way, they simply did not have. Because these organizers are the owners of four monster trimarans – Macif (skipper françois Gabaret), IX Banque populaire (armel Le Cle), Sodebo Ultim (Volume Covill) and Ultim Actual (Yves Le Blevio), United in the Committee of the SAS Brest Ultim Sailing.
Three of these four trimarans, as you know, in November took part in the transatlantic race, Route du Rhum, and it ended bad for them.
