Tie your trouser legs and …
This instructive story is now told and shown in different countries on different continents. Its essence is that the yachtsman, left behind, escaped, thanks to his own jeans!
It all happened a week ago in New Zealand. To be precise, in the Gulf of Tolaga Bay, where they decided to sail, rented a 12-meter yacht, two German tourists — 30-year-old Arne Murke and his older brother.
The weather, in fact, was not very conducive to sailing. The excitement of the sea intensified with every minute. One wrong move, a blow with a geek – and Arne was overboard. Catch a life jacket, abandoned by his brother, he could not. And soon the yacht was completely out of sight.
Arne bailed out his own jeans. At one time, he saw a life hack on Yu-Tyube: you need to tie up the ends of the leg, and then with an abrupt movement fill the improvised life jacket with air.
Thanks to this, Arne managed to stay on the surface for three and a half hours until the rescuers found him.
And here is the life hack that saved Arne Murka’s life.
