Continues to fight for the trophies of the regatta Nord Stream Race. After a difficult struggle on the coastal race in Stockholm was a change of the leader of the Swedish team that showed the best results, was disqualified because of a rules violation.

Crazy beautiful views accompanied the participants of the coastal race the Nord Stream Race in Stockholm. The start was given at a distance from the town centre, and the finish took around the race village, surrounded by a circle of historic buildings of the Swedish capital. The starting procedure took place in light winds and best of all crossing the start line managed Finns, Danes and Swedes. While the last two teams the Russians squeezed in the “box”, almost obezdil the boat, so our “Leviathan” came out to last the distance.
A small tacking to the top mark and the boats were drawn into the fight on full duty rate, where the struggle for leadership between the two Scandinavian and Finnish teams. The Russians are gradually catching up with the German boat and walk round it, while the wind increases, gradually reaching up to 15-17 knots.
Then there are the most dramatic events of this day: the lower sign the Russians are catching up the leading group, and the Finns and Danes come out ahead. On rounding mark, the Swedes violate the rule of coherence.
“We filed an appeal against the Swedish team because of a violation of the rules of coherence of the lower sign. They prevented us from Bagnatica. At the end of this incident we lost our position and all the chances to win in this race. In the end, the Swedish team was disqualified,” explained Bowman of the Finnish team Emil Nordlund.
The Swedish team crossed the finish line first, but by the decision of the race Committee, this result was annulled. In the overall rankings, the team dropped to third place with 14 points, giving place to the Danes (13 points) and Russians (11 points).
“We have different opinions about breaking the rules. But we focused on the upcoming race. Very interesting how the fight will unfold next,” said the skipper of the Swedish team Christian Harding.
30 June at 13.00 in the centre of Stockholm launched the third offshore stage of the regatta. Boats can finish in Helsinki on the morning of 1 July, is expected to have a strong tailwind. This is the most beautiful crossing in archipelago areas. It is believed that this area is one of the most challenging races because of the numerous dangers and the ever-changing winds.
