The hosts stepped forward
On the third day of the world championship in the J / 70 yacht class, which continues in Torquay in the south-west of Great Britain, 3 races were held, which significantly changed the situation at the top of the tournament table.
The former leader – the Italian Petite Terrible (skipper Alberto Rossi) – now with 86 points takes only 4th place. The British Eat Sleep J Repeat (Paul Ward) burst forth – 65 points.
Russian Maria (Andrei Malygin), who was disqualified in the first race of the day, retreated one position and now occupies 6th place (117 points).
It’s like a kangaroo jumping on the ArttubeRus1 table (Valeria Kovalenko): after the first day, the team, we recall, took 29th place, then rose to 8th, and now it is 19th, 178 points (the team was disqualified in the same first race).
A little higher, in 18th place – Akhmat (Alexander Bozhko) – 177 points. Finally, Joyfull (Denis Cherevatenko) – on the 26th position, 203 points.
