      The choice fell on the L30
      Talk about it went long ago, but only today the International Sailing Federation – World Sailing – officially announced that at the first offshore world championship to be held in October next year in Malta, participants will compete on L30 yachts.

As World Sailing President Kim Andersen emphasized, the boat was thoroughly tested by a group of leading yachtsmen – including Charles Kodrelye (France), Ian Walker (Great Britain) and Torben Grael (Brazil), and all of them gave L30 high marks.

As is known, the author of the L30 concept is the silver medalist of the 2004 Games, former world and European champion Rodion Luka. The design of the yacht was developed by Justin Yacht Design.
