From 5 to 8 September 2019, at the berths and on the shore of the St. Petersburg River Yacht Club of Trade Unions, an exposition of the 6th international exhibition St. Petersburg International Boat Show 2019, organized by the leading Russian yachting publication Motor Boat & Yachting.

Every year the boat show is gaining momentum and increasing berths for new exhibitors. This time, visitors were able to inspect more than 60 yachts and celebrated a large number of new boats, among which there was a world premiere – the coal-black Brizo cruiser with two 370-horsepower marinated Volkswagen engines, delivered to the exhibition directly from the Finnish shipyard by the Russian yacht agency Jonacor Marine. There were also several Russian premieres. Thus, the motor-sailing catamaran Lagoon 42 came from neighboring Finland on its own through the Baltic, proving to everyone that these seaworthy and comfortable ships can be operated not only in the Mediterranean Sea. For the first time in our country, the Cranchi E26 Classic model, shown by First Yacht Group, was also presented. This stylish and elegant “Italian” with a length of almost 8 meters, which accommodates a double cabin and a toilet, aroused an understandable desire among the guests of the boat show to visit her on board and take a ride.

“Who is last?” This question was raised at the pier with mini-yachts FY-Boat throughout the exhibition.

Media personalities were noticed among the visitors of the exhibition

The largest yachts of the exhibition were the Polish motor cruiser Galeon 780 Crystal, which appeared in the exhibition fleet of the Vessel Service company, as well as the 23-meter yacht of the Laky Verf (Shlisselburg) shipyard, shown at SPIBS 2019 by the West Nautical maritime house, by the way, which took part in the St. Petersburg boat for the first time. -show. Well, and the most unusual water vehicle can be called a bright orange miracle – the development of St. Petersburg manufacturers of a folding catamaran “A-Bark” on electric traction, which when folded can fit into the trunk of any car (weight 30 kg) and can be used for entertainment, fishing and other purposes. Another, also domestic, manufacturer of single and double mini-yachts FY-Boat, powered by batteries, already participated in last year’s SPIBS and received many orders then. This time, representatives of the company talked about the new products being prepared for the next season with a fiberglass body, equipped, among other things, with a remote control. The pontoon had no end to those wishing to steer these unusual boats. It is gratifying that more and more shipyards are not only realizing the need to respect nature, but are embodying this understanding in their projects.

In general, in addition to the large number of boats from the Scandinavian countries and Finland, traditionally participating in the exhibition, our compatriots were pleased: Kazan boat builders Velvette Marine and Slider; Vineta, NorthSilver, Ventum, Albakore, Grizzly, Special Boats (all from St. Petersburg), Pacifico (Vladivostok) and others, as well as Polish shipbuilders such as Maxus and Haber.

In the evening of September 5, thanks to the participation of partners, a festive buffet was held in honor of the opening of SPIBS 2019. The next morning, the participants of the round table met at the Parusa restaurant, at which the pressing problems of the industry were discussed: the creation of a decent yacht infrastructure in Russia, ship refit services, as well as new fines stipulated for violation of the rules for the operation of small vessels. On September 7, in the water area of the Gulf of Finland, the sailing regatta SPIBS Race 2019 was held, in which both absolute beginners and already experienced yachtsmen fought bravely with the wind, and on the final day a friendly final whistle sounded from all ships, after which the yachts began to disperse “to their homes “.

At the SPIBS exhibition there was everything to feel your own exclusivity: yachts and boats from small to large, luxurious Bentley cars, hotels, luxurious furniture and textiles …

The organizers assure that SPIBS 2020 will be very special and invite everyone to participate.
