Inspired by the Spitfire fighter, a highly effective British aircraft during the Second world war, Claydon Reeves has introduced the concept of speed of 14.6-metre speedboat Aeroboat. The designers have endowed him with unusual aerodynamic design, lightweight body of carbon fiber, Kevlar and wood, and equipped with an engine Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 power from 1500 HP to 2100 HP All this allows the ship to reach a top speed of 50 to 75 knots.
Open cockpit Aeroboat that can be tailored to the tastes of the owner, can accommodate four to seven passengers. Leather captain’s and passenger seats its design really resemble a pilot’s seat in fighter aircraft. The steering wheel and the dashboard is made of dark lacquered wood, chromed metal elements, equipped with a touch control system. In the bow of the vessel provided the owner’s stateroom with a double bed and dressing room.
The first official presentation of the project will take place at the exhibition Salute to Style, which will be held from 16 to 19 July 2014 in London at the club The Hurlingham Club. As the architect of the project by the new Zealand company Laurent Giles, and a shipbuilder – a British shipyard Green Marine. The project creators plan to release a limited edition boat Aeroboat of 10 pieces.
