Sochi: so far only for its
From June 1, federal sports facilities in Krasnodar, Stavropol Territories and Crimea will begin to receive professional athletes at their bases. The mood among the sailors of Sochi is quite optimistic, everyone is looking forward to permission to go to sea.
Today, sea life in Sochi takes place in accordance with order No. 2 of the captain of the seaport of Sochi, according to which, prior to a special order, restrictions have been imposed on the navigation of passenger, small vessels with passengers aboard a vessel engaged in commercial activities, sailing outside the seaport with subsequent return to port of Sochi.
It is still possible to go to sea, but only upon prior request to the port captain and only to crew members inscribed in the ship's documents. The port supervision and the transport police of Sochi controls the access to the sea. Now, before going to sea, they come to the ship, check the availability of the application, documents from the crew members and if everything is in order, then access to the sea is allowed. In some cases (for checking the ship's driving performance after repair, for example), the exit may be allowed with a mechanic on board.
Imereti port belongs to the Sochi port, respectively, there is a similar situation. The descent and rise of yachts in the technical area is allowed.
By the decision of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondartiev, the “High Readiness” mode in the Territory was extended until June 6.
It should be noted that from May 23 some of the restrictions are lifted – construction enterprises, hairdressers and beauty salons, car dealerships and car washes, building materials shops and other retail outlets with an area of up to 400 square meters can start work.
But parks, embankments, shopping centers will remain closed, a ban on public events remains, movement between municipalities and entry from other regions is limited. Which, however, does not prevent the townspeople from walking in parks, embankments and visiting remote, unguarded beaches.
Visitors from other regions and countries that do not have permanent registration in the Krasnodar Territory are sent to the observatory for 14 days.
Since June 1, it was planned to open 65 beaches of sanatoriums with a medical license.
According to unconfirmed arrival information, guests must present a ticket, a spa card and a certificate of absence of COVID-19, as well as confirmation that they did not contact infected people for 14 days. There were no other explanations from the authorities of the region.
As for FGBU "South-Sport", the complex itself is still completely quarantined. Athletes are engaged in distance training according to an individual plan.
So that the guys would not get bored with quarantine and do not lose their skills, the founder of the sailing team M-Sailing and a resident of Sochi, Mikhail Poslamovsky, organized daily online trainings for children of the sailing center, which study the theory and strategy of sailing races using modern technologies that leads Mikhail Evgenievich Fomin, a master of sports, a member of the USSR national sailing team, who trained the national team of the Armed Forces in the Soling class. Mikhail Evgenievich has extensive experience in educating racers not only in the real world, but also in the virtual one – back in 1999 he was one of the first in Russia (if not the first) to master the French computer tactical sailing racing simulator “Virtual Skipper”, in which he achieved not only individual global successes, but also team successes, having selected highly motivated virtual athletes from the CIS countries as their team, having won the title of world champions with them. Now, in the context of global changes, his experience will be very useful in educating future champions.
This is not the end of the “virtual” sailing life of the wards of the sailing center – they also actively participate in online competitions on the Virtual Regatta platform simulator – the guys showed themselves very well in the regatta for the “Cup Locker” organized by the store of the same name, Sochi yachtsman Sergey Avdonin, Ilya Polishchuk and Anna Zykina.
Well, from May 22 to 24, Sochi Sports School No. 13, with the support of the Sailing Federation of the Krasnodar Territory, is hosting the Digital Sailing Cup, a regional competition in virtual sailing, on the same platform. Forty-five athletes from 8 municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory managed to register for the competition: Sochi, Gelendzhik, Novomikhailovsky, Novorossiysk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar, Anapa and Yeysk.
I would like to note that May 29 marks the 40th anniversary of the creation of the Sailing Center of the Sochi national teams; in this regard, the center holds many online events.
For example, today, May 24 at 12:00 a live broadcast will take place with the vice president of the sailing center of Sochi, Valery Alekseev. The broadcast will take place on the Instagram account of the correspondent, member of the Union of Journalists Svetlana Latysheva @svetlana_sochi.
As for the prospects of opening a sailing center for athletes, then everyone is waiting. We quote the words of the director of the Southern Federal Center for Sports Training Mikhail Dremov: “We continue our work and create all the necessary conditions in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare. At present, our Yug Sport bases in Sochi and Kislovodsk are ready to receive athletes from the Russian national teams in the current sanitary and epidemiological situation. Therefore, we are looking forward to our outstanding athletes at the South Sports facilities, which have become their second home! ”
Recall that the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin, in a conversation with President Vladimir Putin, announced the readiness of the sports infrastructure to exit the quarantine regime. “We are ready to begin training athletes in 21 sports at our bases,” said the head of the sports department.
