      Sochi Regatta will not take place
      According to the press service of the All-Russian Federal Border Guard Service, the Sailing Federation of Sochi, in connection with the threat of the spread of the coronavirus, has decided to cancel the Sochi Regatta (March 24-30).

This regatta, as you know, included the second stage of the Russian Cup in Olympic yacht classes and the second stage of the Russian Cup in the Finn class.

The decision was made on the basis of orders from the administrations of the city of Sochi and the Krasnodar Territory.

The All-Russian Sailing Federation recalls that all-Russian competitions under the auspices of the VFPS (including championships, cups and championships of Russia) are held subject to the requirements and recommendations of the executive authorities of the Russian Federation and constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The WFPS will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis in order to protect the health and safety of athletes, coaches, referees and officials and to promptly notify of updates.
