Sea Eagle II enters its first flight
One of the largest sailing yachts – the three-masted aluminum schooner Sea Eagle II, built at the Royal Huisman shipyard – went on its first voyage. Now she is heading to the Mediterranean Sea.
Recall Sea Eagle II, developed by Dykstra Naval Architects under the direction of Mark Whiteley. With a total length of 81 m / 266 ft, it became the largest yacht built at the Royal Huisman shipyard, standing on a par with another creation of the shipyard – the superyacht Athena, which is also one of the top 10 largest sailing yachts in the world.
On board the yacht, in addition to the owner, his family, friends, are specialists of the shipyard, helping the team get acquainted with the ship.
