SCL Final – Porto Cervo
At the same time, the qualifying stages of the SAILING Champions League will be held for the first time in Germany and Finland, as well as – by tradition – in Russia.

The dates and venues for the seventh season of the Sailing Champions League (SCL) have been determined, reports http://nationalsailingleague.com. During the three qualifying stages, five representatives of the national sailing leagues will compete for the finals, which will be held in Porto Cervo in Sardinia. At the same time, Germany and Finland will for the first time accept the qualifying stages of the SAILING Champions League, which will take place on the following dates:
Stage 1: Mariehamn, Finland – June 11-14
Stage 2: Travemunde, Germany – July 23-26
Stage 3: St. Petersburg, Russia – August 13-16
Final: Porto Cervo, Italy – October 1-4
A draw was made on February 6, and according to preliminary data, the Academy of Sailing of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and the Rocknrolla Sailing Team will take part in the Finnish stage, Calipso will try their luck in Germany, and the familiar water area in St. Petersburg will go to the ZID art Sailing team and champion of our League-2019 – Akhmat team.
For the first time in the history of the SAILING Champions League, the Travemünde regatta will be held in RS21 class boats. The remaining stages will take place on traditional J / 70 boats.
32 clubs will take part in each qualifying stage, of which only 9 of the strongest will receive a ticket to the final, which will be held by the Costa Smeralda yacht club. The three best clubs in the Asia-Pacific region will also come to Porto Cervo. Qualifying stages have already begun in this region in January, and finalists will be determined in April.
