Reception of applications in full swing!
Friends! We remind you that the acceptance of applications for awards of the 11th National Award “Yachtsman of the Year” continues.
You can apply on the website http://sailoroftheyear.ru/ in the “Apply” section until October 31 inclusive in the following categories:
– “Yachtsman of the year”;
– “Yachtsman of the year”;
– “Judge of the Year”;
– “Coach of the year”;
– “Sailing team of the year”;
– "The best long-distance sports trip";
– “Children's Sailing School of the Year”;
– “For contribution to the development of sailing”;
– "The best organizer of the competition";
– “The best coverage of sailing competitions”;
“For loyalty to the sail.”
The application campaign will last until the end of October, after which the jury of the National Award “Yachtsman of the Year” -2019, which includes authoritative people of the sailing community of Russia, will select three best entries from each category that will be included in the shortlist of the award.
The solemn ceremony at which the winners of the 11th National Award “Yachtsman of the Year” will be announced will take place on November 28 at the Moscow State Musical Theater of Folklore “Russian Song”.

At the same time, we remind you that as part of the 11th ceremony of awarding the National Award “Yachtsman of the Year”, we are organizing a competition of the best sailing photographers of the country.
It doesn’t matter if you are a professional or an amateur, take pictures on a camera or mobile phone. What is important is your inspiration, courage and a non-standard view of events.
Mandatory conditions:
Send one of your best photos by 10/27/2019 to [email protected]
In the subject line indicate "Yacht Russia Sailing Image"
In the letter indicate the Name, Surname and a short description of the photo.
According to the results of the competition, winners in two categories will be selected – "Jury Choice" and according to the results of online voting on the page of our group.
Winners in both categories will be announced at the award ceremony of the National Award “Yachtsman of the Year on November 28 at the Russian Song Theater of Folklore”. Also, photos of the winners will be published in the January issue of Yacht Russia magazine.
