"Ready to meet everyone and discuss the future"
The publication of an interview with the current SPPS president, Sergey Alekseev, to our magazine caused a great wave of discussions that did not go unnoticed.
As a result, Sergey Pavlovich prepared an answer to his critics, which we bring to your attention (we just want to note on our own that the principle “I have not read it myself, but I condemn it” is not very suitable even for literary disputes):
St. Petersburg Sailing Union
Address by the President of the SPPS, Vice-President and Chairman of the Presidium of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions S.P. Alekseeva
Dear friends (But I still consider all real yachtsmen to be friends). They told me about the sharp reaction to my answers to Yacht Russia about the situation in the CPPS.
The opening of the school and the success of the athletes is wonderful. At the same time, as a yacht captain and the head of one of the largest exhibition companies in Europe, I can say that for everything that happens on board or in your organization, the captain or director bears criminal, administrative and moral responsibility. Our opponents should shift the focus of their attention from attempts to destroy SPPS and cast doubt on my reputation for improving their activities. Organize the training process so that tragedies do not occur, move the training zone further from the ship's course, resolve the issue with the Sailing Club. How much effort and time do you spend on one-sided polemic on Facebook? I am not there, I will not answer you there, therefore there is no honesty and constructiveness in such communication. Invite to a meeting with yachtsmen, I will gladly come and answer all questions.
The immoral actions of those who started litigation that jeopardized the existence of the SPPS, and also brought us several hundred applications for membership in the SPPS, most of which were checked by our applicants under pressure by our commission.
In February, the legal powers of the Presidium expire, my powers as a leader will be invalid, with all the consequences for SPPS as a regional federation and for me personally. SPPS will not be able to pay a single bill, sign a single document for the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports and other authorities, the VFPS, the Sea Port, the Sea Council, and other organizations. For non-payment of rent, we, together with all documents and the archive, will be evicted from the office, the site and other information resources of the organization will stop working, and we will not be able to pay salaries and taxes. Why do we, sailors of the sea capital, intelligent people, after so many years of hard work for the sake of the sail, such a collapse?
Since the court is delaying the consideration of our case, on February 1, at the conference, delegates will be invited to extend the powers of the current SPPS leadership. Despite our reminders, the protocols for the election of delegates from the Krestovsky Ostrov school, SB20 and Santer760 Associations have not been presented.
Opponents are trying to do everything to frustrate our work and denigrate me and other active members of the SPPS, who understand the consequences of the actions of the sluggish.
I am ready to meet with everyone and discuss the future. Elect delegates and come to our conference on February 1, 2020.
Not too late!
SPPS President, Vice President
