At the shipyard you can order the boat fully assembled, or in pieces. Young sailors will be able to build a boat under the guidance of 1-2 masters.
“By building these boats using this technology, we believe that for the same money you can build more. So more people will come into the sea and touch the beautiful. We very much hope that the clubs of young seamen, Maritime higher educational institution and non-core schools will be able to use the boat to conduct boat practices for different forms of team building — this boat is very good with this role to cope,” — said the chief Builder of shipyard “Poltava” Mikhail Plekhanov.

Winter descent gichki in St. Petersburg will forever go down in history, usually at this time the water in the Gulf of Finland freezes. Athletes of the Academy of sailing, which will continue to train on the boat, took advantage of the weather conditions and even organized a small way out into the Bay.
“Thanks to its sailing arms the whole team, sitting in the boat-10 people – involved in working with the sails. Two people working on the FAL, one for tack, one on the mainsheet, one on the back foot. Compared to a conventional sailing boat weapons, employing only the steering and Shkotovo, and the rest, in General, are bored and do not get any marine practice, gig is the perfect boat to educate and teach the youth” — said the coach of the Marine school Eugene Sibko.
