For British shipyards the current year has started extremely successfully — outstanding sales performance demonstrated during the January Boot Düsseldorf — 2019.

Princess Yachts at Boot Dusseldorf 2019 managed to sell 21 of the boat for a total of over £38 million.

In the coming days it is expected to confirm a number of orders.

“Princess Yachts celebrated with pride its 50th anniversary boat show in Dusseldorf, and I believe it was our most impressive and inspiring stand for all the years. With Boot Düsseldorf, where we exhibited over the last 40 years, we share a rich history,” proudly said Anthony Sheriff (Sheriff Antony), Executive Chairman of Princess Yachts.

The whole exhibit Princess Yachts consisted of 11 boats, including three world PREMIERES — F45, V78 and Y85.

The stand of the shipyard drew attention to the fact that clearly showed the evolution of shipbuilding in the English Plymouth: the famous Princess Project 31, which is the firstborn company and built in 1968, side by side with the revolutionary setbottom R35.

Princess R35 as a bright representative of the R-class is really a huge step forward. It reflected the technology peculiar to the world of supercars and racing in the class Formula-1. Deserves special attention system Princess Active Foil System (AFS), consisting of two carbon fiber hydrofoils that regulate the stability of the boat during movement. It was designed by Princess of engineers in partnership with Ben Ainslie Racing Technologies (BAR Technologies) and ex-designers of “Big Prizes”, now part of the national team of great Britain
on the America’s Cup.

Close cooperation was conducted with experts and Pininfarina — the design Studio, successfully operating for nearly 90 years for the benefit of the automotive industry.

“In recent years, our business is growing rapidly, combining traditional values with innovation from the world leaders in design and technology, so it was quite natural to show the results of these partnerships at the show. I believe that many visitors, clients and guests highly appreciated the philosophy of BAR Technologies, Pininfarina and Princess” — sums up Anthony Sheriff.

Note that the last Boot Düsseldorf honored with his attention 250 000 visitors, and specially invited guests, the Princess gathered from different corners of the world — Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Thailand.
