The British shipyard Pearl Yachts was founded in 1998 and at the same time introduced its first models – Pearl 41 and Pearl 45.
In 2002, the famous yacht designer Bill Dixon began to collaborate with the shipyard, and since 2013, the interiors of Pearl Yachts have been created by British design star Kelly Hoppen. Over the 40 years of her career, her impressive portfolio includes the interiors of luxury hotels, yachts, private jets and even cruise ships. Kelly Hoppen and Bill Dixon are still engaged in Pearl Yachts models, but since then the yachts have grown very much: today the flagship model is almost 30-meter Pearl 95. All are flybridge, planing and fast. And considering that Pearl Yachts still produces dozens, and not hundreds of cases per year, she has the opportunity to approach each project very individually: the shipyard guarantees a high level of personal attention and close contact with the client during the work. Finally, unlike most manufacturers on the market, which are limited to a two-year warranty on their yachts, Pearl Yachts gives a five-year warranty. Agree, three extra years of peace are worth a lot.
PEARL 95
The flagship of the brand clearly reflects the intention of Pearl Yachts to enter the superyacht sector. Developed for the 20th anniversary of the shipyard, the model was shown at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2018, but long before the premiere, two more buildings were sold and built, which proves the success of the concept. Despite its impressive size, the yacht has a light, almost sporty and elegant silhouette, emphasized by unusual lines of large-scale glazing. Bill Dixon and his team had the task of creating a boat that stands out in the classroom, and the Pearl 95 is definitely not to be confused with anything!
Interior. Kelly Hoppen has created a luxurious and carefully planned interior – for customers accustomed to superyachts. During the development, the opinion of the owners of other Pearl Yachts models was taken into account, so the master cabin was located in the bow of the main deck, equipped with panoramic glazing – with a view of both sides and at the heading. To do this, the bathroom was made between the cabin and the salon, and not in the nose, as usual. At the entrance – a dressing room with wardrobes and a dressing table.
In a large-scale salon, made at one level, glazing adds to the entire height of the room visually. It houses a living room with a huge L-shaped sofa and a dining room for eight people. The galley, equipped to the highest standards, is equipped with Gaggenau appliances and has access to the deck so that the crew can move around the yacht without disturbing the guests in the cabin.

On the lower deck, you can get three or four cabins for guests. In the first case, the midships will include luxury apartments with the entire width of the hull – in fact, the second master cabin with a separate dressing room. If you need more capacity, these apartments are easily divided into two cabins. The crew compartment for four is located in the bow of the hull, where you get through a separate entrance from the wheelhouse.
For Pearl 95, as well as for other models, four basic interior schemes are offered: Studio, Taupe, Luxury and Modern. Studio is characterized by calm natural tones: warm gray, ivory and light coffee. Taupe combines pastel colors with brown accents, the Luxury theme is inspired by luxurious suites with dark wood panels in lacquer and light textiles. And Modern means modern clean lines and contrasting materials. Nevertheless, to work out details, customers can choose from an extensive collection of diverse materials. Kelly Hoppen's list of add-ons includes fixtures, vases, pillows and other accessories.
Open decks. Nevertheless, the yacht involves first of all rest in the air. In the cockpit of the main deck is an al fresco open dining room. On the flybridge there is a large lounge area, a jacuzzi, a bar with a barbecue, sun loungers and a top control post with access to the wheelhouse. Another area for a beach holiday is located in the bow of the main deck and is protected by an awning. In the stern there is a garage for a tender and a jet ski, and the hydraulics aft platform is so extensive that you can place sun loungers there during anchorage.
Driveability. With two engines MTU 16V M96L at 2600 liters. from. The Pearl 95 accelerates to 28 knots and has a cruising range of 380 miles. An alternative is less powerful engines: two MTU 16V M96 of 2400 liters. from. or Caterpillar C32 (1925 hp.).
“Pearl Yachts are renowned for combining modern sporty style with space on board,” said Bill Dixon. – In the Pearl 95 model, it was necessary to embody this sporty look in a design with a cabin like Raised Pilothouse. Another feature is the transom with folding platforms and a “beach club”: today, yacht owners need a lot of space for water “toys”. And yes, my team strove to create a design that would stand out in absolutely everything: from the outline of the building to the layout of the interior. ”
PEARL 80
With a length of 24 m, this model is distinguished not only by spacious rooms, but also by light dynamic lines. Like the flagship model, large-scale glazing is present both in the superstructure and in the hull, thanks to which the cabins are very bright – the glazing here begins almost from the waterline.
Interior. The interior is unusual in the form of a lounge area with low modular sofas and armchairs. In the center is a large living room. The bar area is adjacent to the galley, if necessary, it can be separated by a partition with an electric drive.
“Most yachts in the cabin are dominated by a large dining room, but after asking our customers we realized that they rarely eat there, preferring outdoor dining areas or even going to a restaurant on the beach,” says Ian Smallridge, Pearl Yachts Executive Director.
On the lower deck – a master cabin in the entire width of the hull; further up the nose – two guest cabins on the sides and a VIP cabin with a diagonal bed. At the request of customers, the shipyard made a separate entrance from the starboard side to the crew premises (for two people) and a laundry room; there is access to the engine compartment. A separate exit to the deck, of course, is provided from the galley.
Open decks. On board the Pearl 80 there are three open spaces for dining: on the flybridge, in the cockpit and in the rest area of the bow of the main deck. There is also plenty of sunbathing; for example, on a flybridge they are both in the stern and in front. And so that a large company could settle down on the flybridge, he was freed from the tender: it fits on a bathing platform, and a separate garage is provided for a jet ski, from where it can be easily launched into the water without a crane – the platform, naturally, is hydraulically.
Driveability. The yacht provides twin engine systems with MAN or Caterpillar engines from 1150 to 1800 liters. from. with angular transmission to a shaft or three units with a Volvo Penta IPS1200 bottom column (D13 engine, 900 hp). In the most powerful version, the speed reaches 35 knots, cruising range – up to 350 miles.
“In addition to the obvious features: sporty style and speed, the Pearl 80 has an exquisite design. Interesting and even unique solutions that we offer our customers are yachting, what it will be like tomorrow, ”comments Bill Dixon.
PEARL 62
Classic family yacht: easy to operate, nice to own, on board there is a place for everything you need … The key word here is "versatility". The aft platform is optionally equipped with a hydraulic actuator, which not only lowers it, but also puts it forward, turning it into a terrace by the sea. The transom rises, opening the garage for the jet ski (it goes into the water along the guides). This garage, in turn, can be turned into a crew cabin.
Interior. The cockpit has a spacious dining area, and fully retractable glass doors allow you to combine the cockpit with the cabin. The finishing possibilities of this model are as wide as the flagship: all materials are available – from the most delicate suede to Calacatta marble. Like the other models of the brand, Pearl 62 is characterized by large-scale glazing, a well-equipped galley (Miele technique) and a separate entrance to the master cabin. Optionally, you can add access to the deck from the control post (starboard side).
For a yacht of this size, there are unexpectedly many cabins on the lower deck: in addition to the master apartments, there are three more guest rooms. Interestingly, double beds can be provided in each: in the bow VIP cabin, this is the default bed, and in the other two guest rooms they are transformed.
Open decks. At the foredeck there is a relaxation area with sunbeds, a sofa and a folding table (it is cleaned in the seat). If desired, you can install a folding awning from the sun. A long flybridge extends to the transom, and, what is nice, the layout of the upper deck can be done at the request of the customer – there are no standard solutions. Another plus is the well-equipped top control post with two Garmin touch displays that allow you to control everything on board: from the anchor winch to the Fusion media system. The bar is equally generously equipped: a barbecue and a coolbox are already standard; optionally added a refrigerator and an ice maker.
Driveability. Volvo IPS950 / 1050/1200 propulsion systems (725/800/900 hp respectively) give the Pearl 62 decent speed and moderate fuel consumption. At maximum, the boat accelerates to 33 knots, and in cruising mode has a cruising range of up to 250 miles. If you add the possibility of independent control and easy mooring (thanks to IPS drives), it becomes clear why this boat is a worthy choice for relaxing on the water with family and friends.
