The first races of the famous regatta Semaine Olympique Française (SOF) took place today in Yer in the south-east of France.

But is this the famous Yersk regatta, whose fame thundered throughout the sailing world? Unfortunately no. From the former glitter only tears remained. This year, the tournament in Yerah was deprived of high status – it ceased to be a stage of the World Cup in the Olympic classes (due to the fact that the final of this Cup will take place nearby, in Marseille).

And here is the result: where before there was a struggle in ten Olympic classes, now they were scraped together by only four – Laser, Laser Radial and RS: X (for men and women).
