      Our special correspondent Viktor Akatsevich transfers from Sweden, where the European Championship in ice boating was held in the Monotype XV class:

So, the European Championship in ice boating in Sweden is over. Unfortunately, only five races were possible. Despite the excellent condition of the ice, for the past three days there has been no wind in the race.

Following the results of the races, the Russian racer Oleg Vasiliev took first place and became the three-time European champion! This is a great achievement of domestic sports, given the high class of athletes from other countries.

In addition, for the first time in many years, Russian bouler Anton Didenko managed, as you already know, to take third place at the World Championship in the class of DN buer. This is truly a historic event!
