Ocean Race – the Route is defined!

The organizers of the round the world race Ocean Race has finally announced the exact route.

The race starts in October 2021 in Alicante, will travel through 8 cities and will finish in 2022 in Italy, and more precisely in Genoa.

Full itinerary Ocean Race 2021-22:

  • Alicante, Spain – Start
  • Cape Verde
  • Cape town, South Africa
  • Shenzhen, China
  • Auckland, New Zealand
  • Itajaí, Brazil
  • Newport, United States
  • Aarhus, Denmark
  • The Hague, Netherlands
  • Genoa, Italy – the Grand final
  • For the first time in the history of the Ocean Race to Kong will be allowed not only a monotype yacht VO65 class, but also the speed tollingovye IMOCA 60.
