      The organizers postponed the holding of the famous 68th Mediterranean regatta Giraglia Rolex Cup, which was supposed to be held from June 5 to 13, until 2021.

The Giraglia Rolex Cup program included the San Remo – Saint-Tropez race, coastal races in Saint-Tropez, and finally the off-shore race of Saint-Tropez – Giralya – Genoa.

It was decided that the 68th Giraglia Rolex Cup will be held from June 11 to 19, 2021.

The organizers almost until the last delayed the announcement of the postponement of the regatta (and in fact – the cancellation of its holding this year), but they had no choice. Sailing hopelessly lost the war against coronavirus.

An interesting detail: now Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race remains the only regatta under the auspices of Rolex, which is held without permits. The race, which was first held in 1945, has since been held 75 times.
