      Luna Rossa lost the mast
      Yesterday, during an evening workout a few miles from Cagliari (Sardinia), on the AC75 boat of the "note" challenger for the America's Cup – the Italian team Luna Rossa – the mast collapsed.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. The yacht, which was deprived of its mast and sailing equipment, was quickly towed to the nearby Luna Rossa base and quickly started repairing.

The team leaders reacted to the incident philosophically, noting in a press release: “The fact that we were the first of the contenders for the Cup who lost the mast, of course, is not enough joy. But on the other hand, if you do not work at maximum, you will never know what the limits of your capabilities are! ”
