Stefania Elfwina retained 5th place after the medal race in the class RS:X on the appropriate to end Enoshima (Japan) pre-Olympic test events.
In the medal race Elfwina finished only 9th and scored a total of 74 points.
The winner of the pre-Olympic tournament was the Chinese Liu Junsu: 4th place in the medal race she was more than enough to retain first place in the table. Liu UNSW 53 points, 5 less than the Olympic champion Rio charline Picon from France who took first place in the medal race.
It should be noted that the overall level of the strongest of dozens in this class was truly stellar: so, the comprehensive winner of the 2018 world Cup Lilian de Geus (Holland) finished in the regatta only on the 7th place – she’s 86 points.
