As we already reported, the upcoming night, the 40-meter maxi-trimaran Spindrift 2 under the control of the skipper Yann Guichard will take off from the famous Créac'h lighthouse on the island of Wessan (this is the extreme western point of the French metropolis) – and will go to a world race of 21,600 nautical miles.
The start from the lighthouse is yet to come, but for now let's talk about what has already happened. This afternoon, the Spindrift 2 team was escorted to La Trinite Sur Mer in Brittany, where its base is located.
Last hug – and go. Let's hope around the world!
